Our group's progress for our AIDS action campaign so far has been all about figuring out how we can use our sources in our campaign to influence people to act.
The videos and the pictures will all be used to engage the audience into the discussion in a way that should be more interesting to them. The Family Guy video and Rent video will be used to show how the media represents AIDS as a "gay" disease. The "We Are the World" song will be used to supplement our campaign with a song that was created at that time to raise awareness about AIDS.
As for the books, the HIV law books will be used as a guide for navigating the legal system with AIDS and the other book is filled with 12 different people's accounts on AIDS and this will be used in the presentation to relate to the audience on a personal level.
